• Professional industrial experience (23 years) in research, development, and implementation as a member of cross-disciplinary teams in international companies and academic experiences from participating in international multidisciplinary groups as a Ph.D. student, assistant professor, and associate professor.
• Developed and taught numerous university level courses in IoT, IoT-security, machine-learning analog- and digital electronics, digital signal processing, software modeling (UML, OOA/OOD), software programming, mobile phone programming (Android), mathematics, and high-level client-server programming (node.js, etc.). In addition, I have performed advanced data-analysis by developing and deploying machine learning models and systems.
• Years research and teaching experience in IoT, machine learning, and security in relation to IoT, which have resulted in many scientific high ranked journal papers and a Ph.D. degree in these areas.
• Societal and internationally impact in form of cooperation with Volvo and other companies, publishing paper in high impact journals, participating in international conferences, and developed and taught many courses for international students in English.
• Experience from project management for groups of size 3-5 persons in several companies and management experience as a semester coordinator for educations at bachelor and master levels.
• Supervised and managed more than 50 studentgroups of size 1 to 6 persons.
• Been a censor for master and bachelor thesis for many years.
• Participated and supervised three startup-companies and have started my own company.
• Developed many new courses in cooperation with colleagues, students, and the head of the department.
• Similarly, supervised many innovative projects at all academic levels and taught courses for professionals from the industry.
• Sparring partner and consultant for new teachers (assistant professors).
• Teacher of the year AAU 2016.
• Supervising and participating in university-projects in cooperation with professional industrial companies such as IBM, Microsoft, Arrow, Danfoss, Grundfos, etc.
• Participated in applying for funding for many projects
• Contributed to the goals of the universities by developing and managing laboratory facilities such as usability-lab, electronic-lab, and communication-lab.
• Participate in committees for the promotion of educations; in committees that develop new educations / programs and upgrade the study curriculum in existing ones; and in committees which intensifies cooperation with the industries.
